Oahu 2024 

For the past decade, Christian Challenge at Northern Arizona University has had a partnership with the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention working with local churches and ministries to reach out to college students and communities. 

Over the years we have had the opportunity to serve with several ministries and local churches within the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention including:

• Baptist Collegiate Ministry at the University of Hawaii, Manoa

• International Baptist Ministries Hawaii

• Hamama Community Church

• Pawa'a Community Church

• Restoration Community Church

• Aina Haina Baptist Church

• Working with collegiate ministries

  • engaging in gospel conversations with international students

  • evangelism on campus including: 30 second surveys, tabling, video games on campus, gospel henna, etc. all with the goal to lead to opportunity for gospel conversations

  • helping with welcome week events to meet new students

  • cleaning/prepping ministry spaces for the new year 

• Working with local churches

  • worked the Aina (land) clearing tree branches and grasses/brush to keep overgrowth from invading the church gathering area

    • this provide opportunity to meet local community members and show we care about their home/community
